Gingerbread at the White House: The House of Socks Gingerbread House
Each year Chef Mesnier selected a different subject to portray in gingerbread. This gingerbread White House, built to scale for the Clintons, was titled “The House of Socks.” It featured twenty-two marzipan sculptures of the first family’s famous cat.
