Nancy Bratic

Nancy Shelton Bratic is a retired attorney and former general counsel of Gimmal Group, a privately held software and consulting firm in Houston. She spent over 25 years as general counsel of both privately traded and publicly-traded technology firms and began her career as a corporate lawyer at BakerBotts. She is a member of the Boards of Trustees of the Houston Symphony Society, DaCamera Society of Texas, and has served as the chairman of the DaCamera Endowment Committee, and on the board of directors of Preservation Houston. She has been a member of the Houston Symphony Chorus for over 30 years, and is a docent with the Museum of Fine Arts Houston’s Bayou Bend Collection of American Decorative Arts, where she also served for several years on the board of directors of the docent organization in various capacities. She’s a member of the DAR and Colonial Dames. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin (BA in Plan II History and Spanish, MS in urban planning) and received a JD from the University of Houston. She lives in Houston, Texas, with her husband, Walter Bratic.
