Mona Lisa in New York: The Role of Art in Cultural Diplomacy

On September 1, 2022, Stewart moderated a panel on art and cultural diplomacy with Ambassador Philippe Etienne, Ambassador of France to the United States to the Embassy of France; Kaywin Feldman, Director of National Gallery of Art; and Bénédicte de Montlaur, President and CEO of World Monuments Fund. He discussed the story of how First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy worked to have the famous painting, the Mona Lisa, come to the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City for individuals to see in person.

On July 14, 2022, Stewart delivered remarks on the morning programming sessions of the 2022 Concordia Americas Summit.
