The White House Historical Association is excited to announce openings for various roles for The People’s House: A White House Experience, Washington, DC’s newest attraction scheduled to open in late September.

Positions Available:

1. Retail/Sales Associates

  • 3 Full-time $19.50 hourly plus benefits
  • 3 Part-time $17.50 hourly

2. Retail/Stockroom Associate

  • 1 Full-time $19.50 hourly plus benefits
  • 1 Part-time $17.50 hourly

3. Visitor Services Representative

  • 4 Full-time $19.50 hourly plus benefits
  • 16 Part-time $18.25 hourly

4. Facilities Supervisors

  • 2 Full-time $65,000.00 annual salary plus benefits

5. Facilities Associate

  • 3 Part-time $20.00 hourly

Full-time roles generally work 40 hours per week, while part-time roles are expected to work around 24 hours per week. As this is a seven-day-a-week operation, flexible schedules and rotating days off are expected for all roles.

“The People’s House: A White House Experience” is a cutting-edge education center that will tell the story of the Executive Mansion, its inhabitants and the people who have dedicated their careers to its functions. It will feature exhibits and galleries that bring the White House and its storied history to life. Set to open in September 2024.
