Sarah joined the Association in July 2023 as Vice President of Individual Giving following 14 years in higher education fundraising at The George Washington University. In previous leadership roles, Sarah helped donors to make a meaningful impact through their philanthropy, managed teams of fundraisers to achieve individual and shared goals, and grew fundraising programs to stay ahead of industry trends.
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the George Washington School of Business and a Master of Arts degree from the Columbian College of Arts & Sciences at The George Washington University. She serves as a Trustee of the Holland Society of New York and a Deacon at the National Presbyterian Church in Washington, DC. Originally from the greater Philadelphia area, Sarah resides in Chevy Chase, Maryland with her husband, Sam, and their rescue black lab named Moose.
