Amelia Barkman

Amelia joined the White House Historical Association in September 2024 as a Visitor Services Representative. She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh class of 2024, with a degree in Political Science and Communications. Originally from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Amelia has a variety of work experience, including serving as a manager at Hershey Park, interning for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, and working for the University of Pittsburgh Communications Department. Since moving to Washington, DC, Amelia has grown her love and knowledge for history thanks to the support of her colleagues on the Visitor Services and Experience Team, and looks forward to learning more each day.
