President Carter with His Daughter and Grandson
This is a photograph of President Jimmy Carter, his daughter Amy, and his grandson Jason Carter enjoying the newly constructed tree house. The president personally designed the tree house for his daughter Amy.
President Carter watches his daughter Amy and grandson Jason play in Amy's tree house. The wooden structure was built in an Atlas cedar on the South Lawn, and was designed by the president himself. It is self-supporting so as to protect the tree.
