Most recently, before his retirement, Mr. Salamé was the Managing Director and Head of Global Investment Opportunities (GIO) Group at JP Morgan Private Bank, responsible for managing over 100 investment and credit professionals covering over 1,000 clients from five global offices. Previously, Mr. Salamé was Vice-Chairman of Global Commodities at JP Morgan, was Managing Director and Head of Oil, Metals, Mining and Forest Products at Goldman Sachs and former VP and Head of Marketing for the Financial Institutions Group for the Middle East and Africa divisions for Citigroup (New York / Bahrain). He is a Member of the Councilor's Program of the Atlantic Council and Vice-Chair of the Advisory Board for the JP Morgan Center for Commodities at the University of Colorado, Denver.
Mr. Salamé received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and his M.B.A. (Finance) from The George Washington University.
