Philip Dufour is the founder, President & Creative Director of the Dufour Collaborative in Arlington, Va., one of the country's premier experience design firms. Philip previously served as Social Secretary to Vice President Al Gore for both terms, reporting directly to Tipper Gore. During the Biden administration he served on the Board of the Vice President's Foundation. Prior to his role with the Gores, Philip served as a Ceremonials Officer in the U.S. State Department, Office of Visits & Protocol. He also holds several years experience working for political campaigns and national advocacy nonprofits. Philip founded the Dufour Collaborative in 2007 where they produce events for a wide variety of distinguished clientele. When he isn't producing events, Philip enjoys horticulture, nordic design, and traveling with Todd, his husband of 23 years. Philip was born in Port Arthur, TX and raised in Alexandria, Louisiana. He is a proud Louisiana State University alumnus.
