Lisa Manning is a cardiovascular nurse by education. She is an avid gardener fortunate to have her gardens archived in the Smithsonian Institution. Her focus on organic gardening, sustainable agriculture, propagating and preserving native plants has taken her to many venues and third world countries to share her passion. Presently, Lisa's primary leadership role is as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Cheekood Botanical Gardens and Museum of Art in Nashville where she has volunteered in some capacity since graduate school.
