Carol Taiclet began her career as a certified public accountant at Ernst and Young. Currently she invests in and manages several commercial and residential real estate properties. Her philanthropy focus is mostly on health care and education. She is a member of the Baptist Health Foundation and she has also been a member of the National Charity League, Board of Advisors of Newton Wellesley Hospital, and Junior League. She has also participated in many local community organizations such as girl scouts, church and schools. She has been married for 37 years and has three children and 2 grandchildren.
