White House History Live: Brief the Chief

Join us in learning more about White House History right from your own home. Our Facebook Live series, White House History Live, delves into the stories that make up the history of the Executive Mansion.

In 2024, the White House Historical Association and iCivics launched a new game, Brief the Chief. Players take on the key role of advising the president through historical events and challenges, and by talking to people in and around the White House, they gather insights and evidence to provide a presidential briefing. The game features Presidents Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and Lyndon Johnson, as well as a diverse group of historic figures and viewpoints. Joining us for this episode is Carrie Ray-Hill, Lead Producer of Content for iCivics, who will discuss how this game was conceptualized, developed, and launched with the Association’s Rubenstein Center team.
