History Happy Hour: The Opening of The People’s House

The wait is finally over for the opening of The People's House! This new experience offers the public an inside look into the White House through immersive experiences, educational programs, interactive exhibits, and cutting-edge research. The experience tells the story of the Executive Mansion and the people who lived and worked there. On the premises, there are many exhibits featured year-round, along with a new shop that helps support the work and mission of the White House Historical Association.

Come join us on Thursday, September 26 at 6:00 pm, for an inside look into the highly anticipated People’s House! This History Happy Hour episode will feature speaker Luke Boorady, Director of Museum Development and Experience at the White House Historical Association, and moderator Barbara Perry, Gerald L. Baliles Professor of Presidential Studies at UVA’s Miller Center and Board member of the White House Historical Association!
