The Resolute Desk eagle is handsomely featured in gold, hand-painted on a blue background on this enamel paperweight. Used by several recent presidents in the Oval Office, the desk was a gift to President Rutherford B. Hayes from Queen Victoria in 1880, and was made from timbers rescued from the British Ship HMS Resolute. 2 ½" diameter
